  7. The Superbase example applications are provided on one 3.5" disk. Some
  8. of the examples are documented in the User Guide, Volume 2, Chapters 21
  9. through 23.

  12. The example applications are provided for demonstration purposes only
  13. and should not be assumed to be suitable for commercial use without
  14. further modification. Many of the screens have been created at high
  15. resolution, and some of them may require adjustment with the Form
  16. Designer module for display in other resolutions.

  18. To Print this document, ensure that your printer is connected and
  19. selected, then choose the Print command from this window's File menu.

  21. EXAMPLES DIRECTORY STRUCTURE
  22. ----------------------------
  23. The SETUP routine creates the following subdirectories in
  24. SUPERBASEPRO4, which is the Superbase drawer:
  25.  
  26.         IDEAS
  27.         INVOICE
  28.         MAIL
  29.         TRADING
  30.  
  31. IDEAS, MAIL, and TRADING contain example data and programs relating to
  32. the chapters in the User Guide. These User Guide Applications are
  33. described in more detail below.

  35. User Guide Applications
  36. -----------------------
  37. IDEAS contains a number of example programs relating to Chapter 23,
  38. plus some additional items such as a two-file dBase application, which
  39. you may examine either by opening files and browsing or by running the
  40. query CLITEL.SBQ. 
  41.  
  42. MAIL contains a USA oriented Mailing List Management application, 
  43. driven entirely by a DML program. User access is fully controlled by
  44. the program. The application is described in Chapter 21.
  45.  
  46. TRADING contains a system for the hypothetical Superbase Securities 
  47. Trading firm. This shows how a professional business systems analyst
  48. could use Superbase to develop a full-scale database application. The 
  49. application is described in Chapter 23.
  50.
